I believe that Augustus was a better leader and made better changes and benefitted the people of rome more. Augustus brought something new, an era of peace, and brought rome to a cultural and intellectual peak. Rome then advanced to becoming one of the most developed cities in a large radius. Augustus also helped people by making more job spots, he also created professional military, in which people were payed for their service. I think that he was much more successfull than ceasar in the cultural aspect.
Augustus also conquered much more land than caesar. With Augustuses campaignes rome conquered spain and gaul, he also conquered Austria, Hungary , Bulgaria and Romania. Augustus also changed the militiray, he created the Preatorian guard, which guarded the emperor, it consisted of 9000 men. I think that Augustus was also more successful than ceasar in the military aspect and brought reforms which were beneficial.

Caesar created many good reforms in rome, but i think he only created a base for augustus to really take advantage of to benefit rome the most.

Geography and climate played a big role in the development of ancient Rome. The geography was open and easily accessed, and allowed the Romans to interact, spread knowledge and not be isolated as was the case with the development of ancient Greece. This allowed for them to join together, and did not have to develop as many separate city states.
The climate was good for growing crops, it was not too hot or too cold, and supplied a long farming year. The Romans also had mild winters so which was good because winter was a threat to some. The Romans had access to water, which meant they could trade with other empires such as the Egyptian, and it also allowed travel.
The climate and geography of Ancient Rome was great, and allowed building, trading, farming and travelling with ease, This was a big contributor to the success of the Ancient Roman empire
